The observed luminescence pattern of the Flare Sceptre exhibits a remarkable complexity dependent upon several variables. Initial stimulation – frequently through a pulsed laser emitter – generates a rapid cascade of inherent electron transitions. These transitions, in turn, emit photons with a broad colour signature, initially characterized by
